Food Truck Rodeo coming to the neighborhood! Every Final Friday in June, July and August we’ll have dinner served by a variety of food trucks with Shaved Ice thrown in for fun! You can stay and eat here with your neighbors or take it home for your family.
5pm to 8pm – Sherwood Forest Presbyterian Church
The next general meeting of the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association will be held Tuesday, May 10 at the Sherwood Forest Presbyterian Church on the corner of Wilmot Avenue and Beltline Boulevard.
Our Sherwood Forest neighbor Lisabeth Medlock will make a presentation regarding the activities of The Palmetto Project’s Community Flood Hub.
We will have a neighborhood crime update from CPD PACE Officer Kevin Schmidt. Our City Councilman At-Large Howard Duvall will also be in attendance. We will be planning the Summer Kick-Off Cookout, and discussing whatever neighborhood concerns there may be.
Meet & Greet
Come mingle over refreshments starting at 6pm. The general meeting will be from 6:30-8:00pm.
The Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association’s annual post-holiday adult drop-in is set for 6-10pm on Friday, January 8th at Bloomwood, the 1920’s home of W. Gordon Belser, 530 Kilbourne Rd (behind the Piggly Wiggly). Regina Monteith has again graciously agreed to host our adult party at her beautiful and historic home!
The association will provide a HoneyBaked ham, beer, wine and soft drinks. If you’re coming, bring a side dish, snack or dessert. We would also like to know if you can help with the setup and/or cleanup at Regina’s home.
Please RSVP to our event coordinator Kathy Swanson at 803-787-0963 or email@example.com, and let her know what you can bring and if you can help with setup and/or cleanup.
This event has always been lots of fun and a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors.
