Celebrate Earth Day at the Arboretum with Columbia Green

Columbia Green and Arboretum staff invite everyone to come appreciate and celebrate our amazing planet this Saturday. Walk the trails at your leisure or join in tree tours and children’s story time.

Tree ID Walks with Dr. John Nelson

Dr. John Nelson will lead two tree identification tours. Dr. Nelson is retired curator of the A.C. Moore Herbarium at UofSC, an expert on South Carolina plant communities, and a great storyteller.

Tours start at 11:30am and 1:00pm
Space is limited to 20 people each.

Children’s Earth Day Story Time

A children’s story time will feature beloved books read by friends of the arboretum.
