New Association Officers
Mark Hering tendered his resignation as President of the Association. We thank him for his many years of dedicated service and support to our neighbors. Vice-President Gail Wojtowicz assumed the presidency.
Our bylaws state that an election is required for an interim officer to serve until the annual elections the last quarter of the year. Gail proposed Pat Mason as Vice President. Ed seconded the motion. Discussion did not reveal another candidate. Pat was elected unanimously to serve as interim VP.
Block Captains
Pat Mason is heading up our effort to re-establish the neighborhood block captains program. Block captains are the SFNA’s eyes and ears in the Forest. For more information, contact Pat at pmason@carolinaliving.com.
Forest Friends
Valerie Marcil has suggested forming a group called Forest Friends to educate, advise and assist SF homeowners on managing their trees and gardens. If you are interested, contact Valerie at vallg29205@gmail.com.
Sign Toppers
Thanks to neighborly volunteers, three missing Sherwood Forest sign toppers were recently replaced! There are still two entire street sign posts that need to be replaced and SFNA is working on that!

If you have anything to share with your neighbors, please pass it along and we may include it in a future Crier.
Tell your friends and neighbors to subscribe. No membership required, but of course we would like everybody to join! New neighbor? Let us know and we’ll send out the welcome wagon.
